Social Doubles Day

Our first Social Doubles Day for the year is coming up! This event is as social as they come, there is no limitation on who you can bring along to play with... your mum, your pet lizard... Roger Federer... Just grab someone who wants to have a bit of fun and come along! All girls or all boys teams are very welcome, as are mixed doubles teams; whoever you happen to have lying around... we would love to have them!

The day will consist of a round robin of doubles matches, with handicap systems in place to ensure complete fairness and maximum fun, and there will be PRIZES to be won, not only for the tennis, but for the COOLEST COSTUMES! Last year we had some Togas, a SpongeBob, Steve and the crocodile, a couple of tennis balls, Kim and Kanye put in an appearance, and many more and we want to continue the ridiculous trend so put your thinking hats on! 

We LOVE non-tennis playing competitors for this event, and with the handicap system in place everyone should have the same chance of having a good hit no matter who you bring (even your pet lizard!) 

The $10 entry fee will get you three hours of tennis, FREE FOOD of course, and possibly some pretty cool prizes depending on how much creativity you pour into your costumes! (There is no theme at all, you can do whatever takes your fancy)

If you are available on April 30th, PLEASE SIGN UP ASAP! The sooner we know numbers the better we can make the day! If you are a fence sitter, just put your name down! It will be really fun and there will be lots of people who don't know many people there but the point of the day is to make some new friends and just have a good time so please take the chance! We are very happy to match anyone up who doesn't have a doubles partner lined up, just let us know!

Each individual from each team needs to sign up online and get a ticket, (this will include for those who are not social members the $10 membership fee).
