Monday Night Social Competition - Semester 1 Registration (Final Ticket Release)

Registration - Final Round of Tickets 

 

Sign Up Requirements:

Hope everyone is excited about the Monday Night Social Comp! This is the second and final round of Monday Night Social Competition registration. This is open to ALL players who have done at least one of the following:

 

- Attended Trial Night 1

or

- Attended Trial Night 2 (with correct or incorrect sign-up)

or

- Been a previous member of the UON Tennis Club

 

We have expanded our competition this year to accommodate 112 Players and 89 positions have already been filled after the first release. Over 50 tickets were sold in the first hour so to all those that are now eligible, we recommend registering quickly to make sure you don't miss out! All competition players are required to be 2017 members, so you will also need to purchase your $10 yearly membership prior to competition registration.

 

If the competition fills, a free waiting list will be made available. This will fill any spots which become available. Please keep in mind, if you have not been trialled at all and you have not been a past member, you are still ineligible for the comp and any payment received will be subsequently refunded.

 

Quick Social Comp facts:

- 7:45pm each Monday night

- This is a team’s event, two players per team (don't worry we pick your partner for you based on the grading results)

- Each player will play one singles match and one doubles (just like the Hopman Cup).

- Lots of divisions with varying skill levels

- Your registration fee covers the entire semester

- If you can't play one week, make sure to let us know before 5pm the Sunday prior and we will find you a sub

- Its heaps of fun, a great way to meet new people and you can even win yourself a trophy

- First week of the fixture is the 20th of March. We play each week (barring public and university holidays), with the Grand Final being held in week 13 (the week before the official examination period).
